Self-study PADI E-Learning

The Part time Internship course is conducted over 30 days during December, January and February. The Full time Course is conducted over a 2 week period of your choice

Practical Skills - Hands on training experience with PADI Courses, Dive/Snorkel Centre Operations and Outer Gulf Dive Charters
Course schedule - Choose either our Part Time Internship or Full Time course
Part Time - The Internship program is specifically designed to suit the student with commitments outside of diving. This course gives you added experience and develops your skills over time, ensuring you are confidently ready to work as a PADI professional once completed.
Full Time - The full time course is completed over 2 weeks. This course is a great option if you are short on time. Please note, this course is for Rescue Divers with above average diver skills and confidence levels.
The Divemaster Course (Part and Full Time) is split into several sections.

1. Self Study and Dive Theory
- Completed online using PADI E-Learning
- Knowledge development segments and reviews are completed before your course starts
- Final Exams will conducted on the first day of the course
2. Stamina Exercises and Rescue Evaluation
- Evaluated by your instructor in the beginning of the DM Course
3. Confined Water Skills and Dive Skills
- Evaluation Developing Demonstration-quality Skills
- Mapping Project

4. Practical Skills
Part Time Internship Course
- Developing professionalism with hands on real customer experience
- Participation in a range of PADI Dive courses and supervisory situations with certified divers
*There are compulsory dates over the end of November, beginning of December period however the part time Internship option allows you to fit most of your DM training on weekends through December, January and February (see training dates below.
Full Time Course

Course Investment

*If you are using your own equipment for the course it must be serviced within the last 12 months. This equipment must pass an inspection by the Training Manager and comply with the Equipment Standard list (see below)
**If you prefer to hire your equipment for the entirety of the course you may do so at a rate of $1000 in addition to the course price. Please note your safety and accessory equipment is not available for hire
Divemaster Candidate Prerequisites

Minimum of 18 years of age

Certified PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver

Completed EFR Primary and Secondary Care within the last 24 months

100 Logged dives, including 2 night dives, 2 navigation dives, 2 search & recovery dives and 4 deep dives (deeper than 22m)

*Quality dive gear is a necessity to reach the professional level of diving that you are striving for. At the Rescue Diver level, and as an aspiring PADI Professional each individual diver should own his or her own dive equipment.
If you do not have your own equipment, we have top line dive packages that can be tailored to fit you as an individual and your specific diver needs
Our Guarantee
We will give you all the information and training you need to complete your course to a safe and very high standard. We will only use fully qualified Instructors chosen for their professionalism and ability to teach scuba. If weather hampers completion of your course we can re-book you, available space permitting according to our course and trip schedules.
