| Course Schedule
The PADI Snorkeler Course is approximately 2 hours long for each group (max 30 students). We can cater for upto 3 groups per day.
We begin with a thorough briefing on Goat Island History and how marine reserves have benefited our oceans. We then brief the students on equipment and safety considerations.
We then fit the students with quality snorkel equipment. Every student is fitted with a mask, snorkel, set of fins and a 3mm wetsuit designed to keep them buoyant on the surface and toasty warm.
We enter the water from the beach, in the shallows the Instructors assist and supervise the students with equipment donning. The Instructors will then teach the students basic snorkel skills to build confidence and ensure a safe tour. Our Instructor to student ratio is a maximum of 1:10 giving your students ultimate security.
Once the group is confident and comfortable in their equipment the Instructors guide the group on a snorkel tour visiting all of the hot spots, the students will experience close encounters with an abundance of fish and invertibrae marine life.
