Dive Equipment Servicing

Make sure your equipment is reliable and ready when you are. Avoid a long wait sitting on the surface while your buddies explore the blue below. Your total dive system is life support equipment without it, we wouldn't be able to explore the ocean like we do, so it is imperative that you keep it serviced and reliable.

How often should you get your equipment checked?

Most manufacturers suggest your equipment should be checked and cleaned annually to keep within their warranty standards, and a full service should be completed every alternate year.

What is a 'Check and Clean'?

This consists of equipment undergoing several checks to detect any problems or malfunctions, during this process some of the internal parts will be cleaned of any debris or corrosion. If the gear fails the check then a judgment can be made whether it requires a full service or not.

What is a 'Full Service'?

During this process, the equipment will be completely stripped down a cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner then put back together with replacement parts. This makes sure your

gear works perfectly and is ready when you are.
